When you order through DoorDash or Uber Eats, those platforms collect your name, address, phone, order, and payment details under their own privacy policies, and they share the order details we need to prepare your food. When you contact us directly about catering or a question, we receive the name, contact details, and message you choose to send.
We collect only the information a request, an order, or an application needs. Please send us only the information we ask for.
3. How we use information
We use order details to prepare and complete your order, and we use direct messages to answer questions, plan catering, and resolve order issues.
Every marketing or program update email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and one click removes your address from that list. Service, order, donation, and application messages continue where they are needed to complete the work you requested.
4. Who processes information for us
Our ordering and delivery partners are DoorDash and Uber Eats. Our website hosting provider serves this site. We never sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to complete your order, application, donation, or request, and where the law requires sharing.
5. How long we keep information
We keep order, donation, and business records for as long as our accounting, tax, and legal records require. Messages and applications are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period after, and are deleted on request as described below unless a record must be kept by law.
6. Your choices and data deletion
You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email myounger@ourhouzcafe.com with the name and email connected to your information so we can find it. We respond within 30 days. Where a record must be kept for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal reasons, we keep only that record and explain why.
7. Privacy for our boys and girls
This website is a restaurant website for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from boys and girls under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a young family member provided information to us can email us for review and removal.
8. Security
Our website is served over a secure connection. Payment information is handled by our payment providers and never reaches our own systems in full. No system is perfect, and we work to limit access to personal information to the people who need it for the work above.
